ALABAMA FALL NEWSLETTER
Welcome back Alabama Coaches and Teachers! I hope you all had a wonderful summer break and are ready to get started with another great year with your squad! We have lots of opportunities for both you and your teams continuing throughout the school year, so please continue to remember UCA as your “one stop shop” for your cheerleading needs!
SPIRIT LET’S HEAR IT!!
Some fun ideas to get your cheerleaders ready to start the SCHOOL SPIRIT craze!
- Plan a tailgate party for parents, students, & teachers!
- Decorate the fall athletes’ lockers!
- Plan a fall “Meet the Teams” night & introduce the fall sports teams & band!
- Practice those new Cheers/Traditions during a morning assembly or announcements by teaching students & teachers what to yell & when!

UCA is bringing the Game Time Championship Series to a select competition near you this competition season! The Game Time Championship was created to showcase what cheerleading is really all about—leading the crowd!
At only $10 per participant a category enter your team in one or all three of the different categories: sideline cheerleading, fight song, or time out dance! Did you compete in Home Dance this summer at camp? Turn around and use it for the time out dance division! This is a cost effective way for your team to compete & show off your Game Time Skills!
In the state of Alabama the following competitions will host this new Championship Series:
- Space Center Classic– October 31
- N. Alabama Regional– November 14
- Southern Regional- December 13
What’s Going on this Fall in Alabama?
UCA – Coming your way!!!
UCA is coming your way this fall with lots of fall camp opportunities! From safety classes to private camps, we can meet your needs and budget! Call or email Brad Jones today to sign up for one of these incredible, instructional fall camps!!
Fall Privates: Are you a new coach realizing your team needs some Fall instruction? Maybe your team went to camp, but has since then hit a plateau? Now that you’ve mastered your material from camp, are you looking to learn more? Fall Privates are a great way to either add additional material, or get extra instruction on stunts only! These are very affordable, and available either after school or on Saturdays!
Choreography Privates: If you’re planning to compete with your team this Fall, it can be overwhelming. UCA is here to help! We can help your team create stunt sequences, and create a routine from material they know already! Or, have a UCA instructor come to your practice to clean your routine and boost your team’s confidence before they compete!
