2009 College Entry Tapes

If you walked into the UCA mail room on November 3^rd, you would have seen only one thing—stacks and stacks of College Entry Tapes. For the past week, the UCA office has received tape after tape, which means one thing: college cheer teams across the country are trying to earn their bid to the UCA 2010 College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships.

Because UCA realizes how much time and energy colleges put into their entry tapes, we flew in the best judges from all over the country. The judges flew in Tuesday, and spent all day Wednesday and Thursday judging the tapes based on criteria that included things like technique, originality and ability to lead the crowd.

And it just wasn’t the college teams that were looking forward to this day, the UCA office staff members dressed up for this special occasion, each wearing their own school’s colors.
