UCA All Star Program Information

Each cheer squad attending UCA camp can nominate squad members to compete for the honor of being named a UCA All Star.  All seniors are eligible to tryout.  If there are no seniors, a maximum of six squad members may be nominated to tryout.  Each candidate will perform the Xtreme dance routine, a camp cheer, and a jump.  All Star tryouts are usually held the third night of camp.  The head instructor will let you know the exact time and location of tryouts.  Candidates will tryout in groups of three or more.

  • Sophomore, Junior, and Senior All Stars will have the opportunity to perform in the London Parade before one million spectators lining the parade route. The dates are December 26, 2008 - January 2, 2009.  The UCA staff chaperones the participants to ensure their safety and fun.  If you have any questions, email mfultz@varsityspirit.com

  • Junior High and JV All Stars will have the opportunity to perform in the Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, or the UCA/UDA Thanksgiving Tour at the Walt Disney World Resort depending on the state in which they attended camp.  The dates are November 25-28, 2008.

  • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors who are either a captains or co-captains from any UCA squad may travel to New York City November 22-28, 2008, and perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, "The Longest Running Show on Broadway," before a worldwide audience of 60 million people.  No tryout is necessary, and space is limited.  For more information, or if you have any questions, email medwards@uca.com

  • Cheer, Xtreme Routine, Home Dance Routine and Large Superior trophy Winners are eligible to perform in the Capital One Bowl December 29, 2008 - January 2, 2009, in Orlando, Florida, depending on the state in which they attended camp.

Specific brochures for all events will be distributed at camp.  Please see individual brochures for payment deadlines.  If you do not receive a brochure at camp, call the UCA office immediately at 1-888-CHEERUCA.
