Position Available: Assistant Cheerleading Coach

Job Description: 
We are looking for an assistant coach to help cover practices, games, and competition prep. Ideally, the assistant coach will take over as head coach starting in fall 2013, as the current head coach plans to move away from California next year. With 3 male and 18 female cheerleaders, we have both coed and all-girl stunts.

Requirements:
College degree
Cheerleading experience, preferably at the college level
Flexibility to work with other coaches and SF State advisors
Ability to commit to at least 1-2 practices or games per week
Coed and/or All-girl stunting

Preferred Qualifications:
Collegiate cheerleading experience, Level 6 stunts
Coaching experience
Tumbling and/or routine choreography

Job Description: 
Duties will include but are not limited to: helping run practices, choreograph routines for basketball games, attend and supervise cheerleaders at practices, games, competitions and exhibitions, also assist in organizing fundraisers.

More Information: 
Requirements: Cheer and coaching experience, Bachelor's Degree, AACCA Certification or ability to become certified, First Aid & CPR certification or ability to become certified.
