UCA trained over 180,000 cheerleaders in 2006. UCA camps were held at 276 locations -- over 720 residential sessions and over 3,200 total sessions across the country, offering the widest array of dates and locations of any camp company. There are 1500 UCA instructors, trainers, and camp directors that teach UCA camps.
Curriculum Our curriculum is centered on game cheerleading and crowd leadership. We stress a “cheer with us approach.” All of our material is built around the game, beginning with pre-game pep rally ideas to fire up the fans and students, to actual game situations geared toward crowd participation and response. Leading the crowd is what we are all about!
The UCA Staff 90% of our instructional staff is chosen through in-person tryouts based not only on skill level, but also on an interview process that stresses character, teamwork, leadership and empathy.
Safety UCA is the leader and founder of the AACCA safety program, the recognized standard in cheerleading safety. Camp includes training on techniques for “hands on spotting” at all stunt levels for coaches and participants.
Private Coaching At UCA camp, you'll get one-on-one attention from instructors who will help create and personalize material based on a particular squad’s ability level.
Leadership Training There are morning leadership sessions at camp for both the coaches and captains. The Fan Frenzy Program helps your team to create a custom game plan to lead the crowd, plan pep rally ideas, and promote the school’s athletic program throughout the year.
Concierge Program Camp guide specifically designed to make each squad and individual feel like a part of our family. Photograph opportunities to capture the experience and view photos from camp online. Organized nightly activities to encourage teambuilding and squad bonding.
One-Day Clinics Throughout the year, UCA holds over 100 one-day clinics throughout the country to train cheerleaders and educate coaches. Find out more!
